In the Ecoval Sudoe project, we have been working since November 2020 to demonstrate the feasibility of a new business model for obtaining volatile fatty acids from sewage sludge and municipal organic waste.
The good news is that we’ve done the maths!
In each section you can see the amount of volatile fatty acids that can be obtained through the biotechnological processes implemented by the project, from the raw materials we have worked with (urban organic waste and sewage sludge). We also present the production figures if we apply the same model to industries such as the dairy or canning industries. Interesting, isn’t it?
