Nereus designs, develops, and builds industrial water treatment units. It offers solutions for the reuse of high-quality water from complex effluents (wastewater, fermentation cultures, digestates, seawater, etc.). Another of Nereus’ lines of work focuses on the recovery of bio-products.
At ECOVAL, Nereus will be responsible for leading the work package “Adaptation of the end products to market needs”. Specifically, it will be entrusted with the following activities:
- Clarification of the VFA stream with nanofiltration and potential concentration with electrodialysis.
- Scaling and technical feasibility of the biotechnological treatment train for the recovery of urban organic waste.
