FPNCYL

Natural Heritage Foundation of Castille and León (Fundación Patrimonio Natural de Castilla y León - FPNCYL)

The Natural Heritage Foundation of Castille and León (FPNCYL) is a public organisation, dependent on the Ministry of Development and the Environment (Regional Government of Castille and León), founded in 2005 in order to contribute to environmental sustainability.

The team at FPNCYL leads the group of activities aimed at studying current urban sludge and bio-waste management systems, in order to document both barriers and opportunities for their recovery in the SUDOE space.

Among other activities, they will participate in the economic, legal and environmental study of the current sludge and bio-waste management systems in the SUDOE territory, study the risks and effect of the use of final waste in soils on the biodiversity of the environment, and lead citizen awareness campaigns on the selective collection of urban bio-waste.
