The FUNDACIÓN EMPRESA UNIVERSIDAD GALLEGA – hereinafter FEUGA- hereby informs the USERS of the ECOVAL website of its personal data protection policy, so that the USERS may freely and voluntarily decide if they wish to provide FEUGA with the Personal Data that may be required from them.

The law establishes a series of obligations and defines the rights of users with regard to the protection of their personal data. In order to fully understand and, where necessary, exercise your corresponding rights, USERS must carefully read this notice.

FEUGA reserves the right to modify this notice in order to adapt it to changes in the law or any modifications of industrial practices. In these cases, it will provide information in a timely manner regarding the changes that will be made to its data protection policy, and when these changes will take full effect.

The only personal data to which FEUGA will have access will be those provided voluntarily by the USER.

With respect to the personal data provided by the USER, these will only be processed automatically and used in the manner and for the purpose that is expressly established and authorised by the USER. In this case, this data will be included on a file whose ownership and responsibility corresponds to FEUGA.

The purpose of gathering, processing and transferring the personal data provided by the USER to FEUGA is to undertake all of the activities connected with the ECOVAL wevsite, and in particular the management, development, administration, provision, updating, personalisation and improvement of the services and contents of the same used by the USER, and the statistical processing of the services and contents used, tastes and preferences of the USERS.

The legal basis of the treatment consists of the legitimate interest of FEUGA (in terms of sending communications about the foundation’s activities, and the functioning of the WEB and its applications); in the agreement or subscription of services (and the management of these, in treatments such as payments and invoicing); and in the consent given for the specific case (which can be withdrawn, which would prevent the continuity of the treatment). The user information may also be used to comply with the different legal obligations of FEUGA.

In compliance with applicable legislation, FEUGA has implemented the necessary measures and techniques to maintain the required security level with regard to the personal data it processes. It also has the necessary measures in place to prevent, as far as possible, any unauthorised access, illegal removal and modification or loss of data. However, USERS are informed that these measures are not infallible or invulnerable, and therefore FEUGA may not be held liable for any situations of this kind.

The USER has recognized the rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation, opposition and portability, being able to exercise them in writing by letter addressed to: FEUGA, Rúa Lope Gómez de Marzoa s / n (Campus Vida), 15705 Santiago de Compostela; or by e-mail to the following address: info@ecoval-sudoe.eu, indicating in any of the cases in a visible way: Privacy Policy and enclosing a copy of his / her ID.

The consent given may be withdrawn at any time with a message addressed to info@ecoval-sudoe.eu. Likewise, you can submit a claim to the data protection control authority (in Spain, Agencia Española de Protección de Datos / Spanish Data Protection Agency) if you notice an inadequate treatment of your data.
